Ukraine to increase the water prices for the Crimea
The Government of the Crimea is waiting for resumption of water supplies from the mainland of Ukraine at an early date. At the same time, the price for water will be higher, declared the Chairman of the State Council of the Crimea, Vladimir Konstantinov on May 23, 2014.
V.Konstantinov stated to date Ukraine equips the crossing points at the North-Crimean channel with the counters. Thus, the prices for the supplied water will rise to 3 UAH/l, as opposed to 0.06 UAH/l.
The Chairman added that the Crimea has to allocate from the budget nearly 400 mln UAH annually. V.Konstantinov mentioned, that if the prices grow the region will have to look for alternative.
