In January-March period of 2014 Russia imported 0.4 thsd tonnes of sunflower oil only, a decrease of 38.5% compared with the same period of 2013, declared the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat).
As for the import volumes of palm oil in the reporting period, the index practically remained at the level of the I quarter of 2013, and totaled 163 thsd tonnes (up 0.4%).
