Russia: Ministry of Agriculture forecasted grain harvest in 2014 at 97 mln tonnes
The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia forecasted the harvest of grains and pulses in the country in 2014 at the level of 96.8 mln tonnes, declared Andrei Volkov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, on June 4.
As a reminder, on May 22 Nikolai Fedorov, Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, said that in 2014 Russia can produce the harvest of grains at 100 mln tonnes. And previously, the Ministry forecasted the harvest at 95-98 mln tonnes and the exports - 25 mln tonnes.
