The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine forecasted the decline of the economy rates in 2014 by 5%, declared Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Prime Minister of Ukraine, on June 6.
According to him, within frames of the program on economic stabilization of the country, the Government has to take unpopular measures in the short-term outlook, but the measures are extremely necessary, because they were not made in the country for more than 20 recent years.
At the same time, A.Yatsenyuk noted that the Government has managed to avoid the default in Ukraine.
