In 2013 plant products formed over 90% of the Ukrainian exports to France
According to the official data, in 2013 the export of commodities from Ukraine to France reached the record level of 690.5 mln USD, up 26% compared with the previous year (549.1 mln USD). At the same time, the export earnings from sale of Ukrainian commodities to France formed nearly 1% of the general exports of goods from Ukraine in monetary terms (68.81 bln USD).
The plant products formed the main share of commodities exports from Ukraine to France in 2013 (91%), which were exported at the volume of 1.3 mln tonnes, and the sum of 629.8 mln USD. At the same time, rapeseed formed nearly 41% of the exports of the reporting category. In 2013 Ukraine supplied 533.8 thsd tonnes of the oilseed to France at the sum of 270.3 mln USD.
