On the scheduled date Ukraine completed the planting campaign of spring crops, despite the difficult political situation in the country, declared Ihor Shvaika, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, on June 17 during his speech at the international conference "Grain Forum - 2014" in Odessa.
According to him, hard work of agricultural producers contributed to such results.
I.Shvaika noted that the government control is required in conducting agricultural business, but it should not intervene into economic activity. He assured the Forum participants that the Ministry will not realize any unscheduled inspections of Ukrainian agricultural enterprises.
