In 2014 Russia to export 22 mln tonnes of grains – N.Fedorov
Achievement of the general grain harvest of 97 mln tonnes in Russia in 2014 will completely meet the domestic demands of the country and form the export potential at the level of 22 mln tonnes, declared Nikolai Fedorov, Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, on June 18.
Such forecasted level of production will increase the export potential of Russian grains, explained the Minister. Also, he specified that in 2014 wheat will form 53 mln tonnes of the general forecasted volume of grain harvest.
