European markets can completely compensate the loss of Russian markets for Ukraine. Moreover, it opens up much broader prospects for national commodity producers, declared Pavlo Sheremeta, Minister of Economical Development and Trade of Ukraine, on June 25.
According to him, potentially the EU is much larger market. It has higher qualitative requirements, higher standards. And it is not only the market, it is not only trading operations, bu also it is part of the European integration for Ukraine, said the Minister.
Also, he added that the market and demand will dictate the viability for commodities for each market segment. P.Sheremeta stressed that Ukraine keeps strong positions in the food industry, agricultural sector, energy, IT, etc.
