In 2013/14 MY the export volumes of grains from Russia totaled 25.373 mln tonnes of grains, an increase of 61.8% compared with the same index in the previous season (15.689 mln tonnes), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation referring to operative data of the Federal Customs Service of Russia.
According to the announcement, wheat formed 18.297 mln tonnes of the reporting volume, barley – 2.705 mln tonnes, maize – 4.052 mln tonnes, other grain crops - 318 thsd tonnes.
In the period of July 1-2, 2014, the export volumes of Russian grains reached 30 thsd tonnes, including 5 thsd tonnes of wheat, 19 thsd tonnes of maize, 6 thsd tonnes of barley, and 0.05 thsd tonnes of other grains.
