Russia to decrease grain exports through deep-water ports

In July, 2014 Russia may decrease grain exports through deep-water ports to 321 thsd tonnes, as opposed to 685 thsd tonnes in July, 2013, declared the deputy director of the strategic marketing department of Rusagrotrans, Igor Pavensky on July 9, 2014.
I.Pavensky stated under the current price situation on the global grain market, grain exports from the Russian ports will be profitable under the VAT recovery conditions.
He also mentioned, that within the tenders (with delivery in 2014/15 MY) there was purchased over 4.3 mln tonnes of Russian and Ukrainian grain. In particular, nearly 2.4 mln tonnes should be exported within nearest months (July-August).
