As of July 14, 2014 there were provided over 18 thsd credits at the total amount of 400 mln lari (226 mln USD) within the “Privileged agro-credit project”, declared the Minister of Agriculture of the country.
The goal of the project is to provide the agricultural activity with cheap and acceptable money resources. There were opened 74 new enterprises and over 500 enterprises were expended in the most regions of the country. Within the stated project there were financed over 30 spheres of agriculture.
Among the project participants there are are 13 banks, two micro-financing organizations and two leasing companies. Project realization was started on March 27, 2013.
