According to the data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of Uzbekistan, agrarians of the country harvested over 8.05 mln tonnes of grain (the record rate) with the average yield of 5.5 t/ha.
The Prisident of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov stated 5,12 mln tonnes of grain, or 60% of the total harvest will be used for domestic needs.
