On August 1, 2014, there is introduced the procedure of controlling the transit of commodities from the territory of Ukraine to the territory of continental Russia via the ferry lines of Kerch and Feodosia, declared the press-service of the Government of Crimea on July 24.
According to the announcement, the control procedure of commodities transit from Ukraine to mainland Russia is divided into two parts: documentary inspection in Simferopol and entering data on transport means and cargoes to the unified register of export approval, as well as physical inspection of vehicles in the ports of Kerch and Feodosia.
The officials stressed that the reporting measures do not change or limit the imports of goods from the territory of Ukraine to the Republic of Crimea.
