The European Union expanded the list of private companies, subject to economic sanctions, reported the Official Journal of the European Union on July 26.

In particular, the reporting list includes 9 companies of the Republic of Crimea, including the state enterprises Sevastopol Sea Trade Port and Kerch Sea Merchant Port. According to the announcement, assignment of the reporting enterprises to the Russian legal competence was realized in contravention of the legislation of Ukraine, which became the reason for such sanction action.

The banking assets of the reporting enterprises, if they exist in any European bank, to be frozen, and European companies are banned from doing business with the reporting Crimean companies.
