According to operative data as of July 28, Ukraine harvested 23.617 mln tonnes of early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 7.089 mln ha, or 72% of the planned areas without the Crimea. The average yield totaled 3.33 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As a reminder, on July 28, 2013, agrarians harvested 26.036 mln tonnes of grains throughout 8.579 mln ha, with the average yield of 3.03 t/ha.
In particular, Ukrainian agrarians harvested winter wheat throughout 4.477 mln ha. The produced volumes totaled 16.286 mln tonnes with the yield of 3.64 t/ha.
Agrarians harvested winter barley throughout 2.372 mln ha. The produced volumes reached 6.78 mln tonnes with the yield of 2.86 t/ha.
Ukraine harvested rye throughout 82 thsd ha, the produced volumes reached 192 thsd tonnes, with the yield of 2.36 t/ha.
Also, Ukraine harvested 52 thsd tonnes of oats throughout 25 thsd ha, with the average yield of 2.06 t/ha.
Agrarians produced 307 thsd tonnes of peas, with the yield of 2.31 t/ha. The harvested areas reached 133 thsd ha.
Ukrainian agrarians continued harvesting winter rapeseed. The harvested areas reached 788 thsd ha, the volumes – 1.845 thsd tonnes, the average yield – 2.34 t/ha.
