As of July 24, Ukraine harvested 22.2 mln tonnes of grains and oilseeds – State Agricultural Inspection
As of July 24, Ukraine harvested 22.176 mln tonnes of grains and oilseeds (including the Crimea), declared the State Agricultural Inspection of Ukraine on July 29.
According to the Inspection, agrarians harvested crops throughout the areas of 7.039 mln ha. Wheat production volumes totaled 14.149 mln tonnes with the average yield of 3.53 t/ha. Barley production totaled 4.742 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 2.81 t/ha.
In addition, agrarians harvested 1.156 mln tonnes of rapeseed with the yields of 2.31 t/ha.
Also, the officials noted that grain storehouses of Ukraine kept 6.995 mln tonnes of grains and oilseeds, or 20% of its available capacity. The port grain shipment complexes - 1.458 mln tonnes of grains and oilseeds.
