As of July 30, Russia harvested grain crops throughout the areas of 13.7 mln ha, or 29.4% of the planned harvested areas (in 2013 - 13 mln ha). The produced volumes reached 46.8 mln tonnes of grains in bunker weight (in 2013 - 36.3 mln tonnes), with the yield of 3.41 t/ha (in 2013 – 2.79 t/ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In particular, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat throughout 10.5 mln ha, or 41.3% of the harvested areas (in 2013 - 9.6 mln ha). The produced volumes totaled 38 mln tonnes (in 2013 - 29.1 mln tonnes) with the average yield of 3.63 t/ha (in 2013 – 3.03 t/ha).
Russia harvested winter and spring barley throughout 1.5 mln ha, or 16.7% of the planned areas (in 2013 - 1.7 mln ha). The produced volumes reached 4.7 mln tonnes (in 2013 - 3.9 mln tonnes) with the average yield of 3.05 t/ha (in 2013 – 2.28 t/ha).
In addition, agrarians harvested winter rapeseed throughout 240.4 thsd ha, or 19.1% of the harvested areas (in 2013 - 187.3 thsd ha). The production totaled 404.2 thsd tonnes (in 2013 - 320.8 thsd tonnes) with the yield of 1.68 t/ha (in 2013 – 1.71 t/ha).
