In July 2014 Russia to export the record volumes of grains – Rusagrotrans
In July 2014 Russia can export the record volumes of grains for the reporting month - nearly 2.9 mln tonnes, including 1.1 mln tonnes shipped through the deep-sea ports, declared Igor Pavensky, Deputy Director of the strategic management department of Rusagrotrans CJSC, on July 31.
Also, the expert reminded that the previous record of July grain shipments from Russia was observed in 2011, and totaled 2.5 mln tonnes.
The expert explained the record export flows in the beginning of the season with high rates of grain crops yield in Russia in 2014, and expected good harvest volumes.
At the same time, I.Pavensky expected that the record monthly indices of grain exports will be observed in the coming months, as in the current season of the export potential of Russian grains is high enough (nearly 30 mln tonnes).
