According to data of the State Agricultural Inspection, as of August 1, 2014, the regional stocks of grains in Ukraine totaled 238.3 thsd tonnes, declared the press-service of the Inspection on August 4.
In particular, there are 217.3 thsd tonnes of wheat, 13.4 thsd tonnes of rye, and 7.6 thsd tonnes of other grains.
According to the State Enterprise State Registration Service of Ukraine, as of August 1 the carry-over stocks of grains and oilseeds at the granaries and port grain shipment complexes of the main register, totaled 9.921 mln tonnes, or 26.4% of the available capacities. In particular, port grain shipment complexes stored 1.456 mln tonnes of crops.
