The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia prepared the list of alternative suppliers of import food products to fill the gap, caused by the sanctions of products, declared Nikolai Fedorov, Minister of Agriculture, on August 7.
According to him, the supplies of meat from the European Union, the USA and Canada can be replaced by the supplies from Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina and Belarus. The work in the reporting direction has already started, the Ministry already accredited more than 40 new companies in Brazil.
The Ministry of Agriculture plans to replace the shortfall in supply of cheese, butter and dry milk with the products from South America and New Zealand.
