Ukraine exported 2.7 mln tonnes of grains – Ministry of Agrarian Policy
Since the beginning of 2014/15 MY, and as of August 8, 2014, Ukraine exported 2.699 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
According to the announcement, wheat exports totaled 1.102 mln tonnes, barley – 1.209 mln tonnes, maize – 361 thsd tonnes, other grains – 26 thsd tonnes.
In addition, as of reporting date there were loaded nearly 263 thsd tonnes of grains to the vessels.
Thus, the general volume of exported and prepared for exports grains reached 2.962 mln tonnes (including 1.340 mln tonnes of wheat, 1.233 mln tonnes of barley, 362 thsd tonnes of maize).
