Ukraine exported nearly 3.3 mln tonnes of grains – Ministry of Agrarian Policy
Since the beginning of 2014/15 MY, and as of August 15, 2014, Ukraine exported 3.293 mln tonnes of grains, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
According to the announcement, wheat exports totaled 1.552 mln tonnes, barley – 1.338 mln tonnes, maize – 366 thsd tonnes, other grains – 37 thsd tonnes.
In addition, as of reporting date there were loaded nearly 122 thsd tonnes of grains to the vessels.
Thus, the general volume of exported and prepared for exports grains reached 3.415 mln tonnes (including 1.644 mln tonnes of wheat, 1.367 mln tonnes of barley, 367 thsd tonnes of maize).
