Russia: NCSP Group exported over 3 mln tonnes of grains
In January-July of 2014 the volume of grain shipment for exports by enterprises of NCSP Group totaled 3.09 mln tonnes, an increase of 2.8 times compared with the same period last year, declared the press-service of the company on August 19.
In July the enterprises started exporting new crop grains, and the monthly shipment volumes reached 550 thsd tonnes, which compensated the off-season decline in the previous month, the report said.
At the same time, in the reporting period the Group increased sugar shipment to 715.5 thsd tonnes, up 26.5%.
The Group operates two of the largest Russian ports – Port of Novorossiysk on the Black Sea coast, and Port of Primorsk on the Baltic Sea – as well as Port of Baltiysk in Kaliningrad oblast.
