According to the official statistics data, in July 2014 Kazakhstan produced 27.8 thsd tonnes of vegetable oils, which became the highest index for the reporting month. The index is 5% higher compared with the production volume in June 2014, and up 31% compared with July 2013. The share of sunflower oil in the general production totaled 71%.
It is worth noting that during 11 months of 2013/14 MY, Kazakhstan produced 289.8 thsd tonnes of vegetable oils, up 14% compared with the index for the same period in 2012/13 MY, and up 12% compared with 11 months of 2011/12 MY.
