In 2014/15 MY Russia may export more than 25 mln tonnes of grains, declared Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, on August 22.
According to the harvesting campaign rates, the agricultural sector can completely meet the domestic demand in grains, create the required reserves and increase export volumes, because the harvest is expected to reach nearly 100 mln tonnes. The reporting level of production allows increasing the export potential to 25 mln tonnes, and even more, said the Head of the Government.
As a reminder, previously Nikolai Fedorov, Minister of Agriculture, forecasted the index at 25 mln tonnes.
