Russia: market prices for agricultural products not increased, after imposition of the import ban
After Russia imposed the ban on food commodities imports from a number of Western countries, selling prices for the reporting products by domestic agricultural producers did not significantly change, declared Nikolai Fedorov, Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, on August 20.
At the same time, he noted that the situation concerns the market prices only.
He added that some facts of retail price growing for food products on the domestic market, should be the subject of proceedings of special commissions in all Russian regulatory authorities, including the prosecutor's office.
