To date Kazakh agrarians provide grain harvesting works in eight oblasts of the country (Aktobe, Almaty, Jambyl, Kyzylorda, Pavlodar, South Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan and East Kazakhstan oblasts), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan on August 29.
According to operative data as of the reporting date, agricultural commodity producers harvested grains throughout the areas of 1.273 mln ha, or 45% of the harvested areas in the above mentioned regions. The average yield totaled 1.08 t/ha, the produced volumes - 1.373 mln tonnes of grains.
