As of September 1, Russia harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of 26.6 mln ha or 57.1% of the planned areas (26.2 mln ha in 2013). The produced volumes reached 75.3 mln tonnes of grains in bunker weight (62.3 mln tonnes in 2013), and the yield reached 2.83 t/ha (2.37 t/ha in 2013), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

In particular, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat throughout 14.7 mln ha, or 57.9%. The production totaled 47.9 mln tonnes, with the yield of 3.27 t/ha.

Russia harvested winter and spring barley throughout the areas of 6.9 mln ha or 72.8%. The produced volumes totaled 17.3 mln tonnes of the grain, with the yield of 2.52 t/ha.

Agrarians harvested maize for grain throughout 75.1 thsd ha, or 2.7% of the planted areas. The produced volumes reached 409.6 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 5.45 t/ha.

Russia harvested sunflower seed throughout the areas of 265 thsd ha (3.9%). The production totaled 574.2 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 2.17 t/ha.

Agrarians harvested winter and spring rapeseed throughout 444.6 thsd ha or 36.7% of the planned areas. The production volumes totaled 774.5 thsd tonnes with the yield of 1.74 t/ha.

Russia harvested 132.2 thsd tonnes of soybeans throughout 79.3 thsd ha (4% of the plan), with the yield of 1.67 t/ha.

Russian agrarians continue planting winter grains for the harvest-2015. As of the reporting date, Russia planted winter grains throughout the areas of 2.5 mln ha (15.2% of the forecast), against 3 mln ha in 2013.
