As of September 1, 2014, in Ukraine the production of grains and pulses totaled 36.26 mln tonnes in bunker weight, an increase of 12.3% compared with the index in the same period of 2013, declared the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
As of the reporting date, sunflower seed production grew by 3.9% compared with the same period of 2013, and totaled 1.151 mln tonnes.
