In January-August of 2014 the production volumes of wheat and wheat-rye flour in Russia totaled 5.6 mln tonnes, a decrease of 2.2% compared with the index in the same period of 2013, declared the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) on September 15.
In addition, in the reporting period Russia significantly increased the production volumes of crude sunflower oil and its fractions to 2.5 mln tonnes, up 31.3%, informed Rosstat.
