Until the end of 2014 Belarus plans to increase the supply of dairy products to Russia by 38%, meat – up nearly 30%, declared Vasily Sedin, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food, on September 9.

Annually Belarus and Russia sign the forecast balances of mutual deliveries of sugar, dairy and meat products. But due to the Russian embargo on imports of the certain groups of goods from a number of European countries, Belarus will increase its export trading. Last year Belarus exported agricultural commodities at the sum of nearly 5.6 bln USD. In the current year the country plans to export at the sum of nearly 6 bln USD to more than 10 countries.

To date Belarus exports more than 50% of the produced dairy products, and more than 30% of meat products, said the Deputy Minister.
