The Russian Federation shall clearly and absolutely observe the agreements reached on the basis of a trilateral meeting of Ministers in the format of Ukraine-EU-Russian Federation on the issue of implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, in particular concerning keeping of the current regime of free trade zone within the CIS frames, announced Olena Zerkal, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on European Integration, on September 17.
O.Zerkal noted the inadmissibility of unilateral arbitrary interpretation of the agreements by the Russian party, as the joint communiqué adopted at the ministerial meeting is the only official document which clearly outlines steps of the parties aimed at de-escalation of tensions in the trade and economic relations between Ukraine and Russia.
Also, the official provided full clarification on the procedure of the entry into force of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement to the Russian representative.
