Since the beginning of 2014/15 MY (July 1), and as of September 24, Russia exported 10.73 mln tonnes of grains, an increase of 26.6% compared with the same period of the previous season (8.474 mln tonnes), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation with reference to operative data of the Federal Customs Service of Russia on September 29.
In particular, wheat formed 9.216 mln tonnes of the specified volume, barley – 1.227 mln tonnes, maize - 229 thsd tonnes, other crops - 58 thsd tonnes.
In the period of September 1-24, the export volumes of Russian grains totaled 2.952 mln tonnes, including 2.334 mln tonnes of wheat, 429 thsd tonnes of barley, 168 thsd tonnes of maize, 21 thsd tonnes of other grain crops.
