The sea ports of the Crimea require serious reconstruction works to attract additional cargo flows, and increase the carrying capacities, declared Anatoly Tsurkin, Acting Minister of Transport of the Crimes, on September 23.

At the same time, A.Tsurkin noted that the Crimean ports have rather strong infrastructure, but it is significantly outdated.

As for the primary objectives of reconstruction of the port infrastructure, A.Tsurkin said that it mainly concerns construction of the container terminals, including grain terminals and elevators.
