Kazakhstan to export grains to Southeast Asia and South Korea

In the nearest future Kazakhstan plans to export grains to the countries of Southeast Asia and South Korea, declared Saktash Khasenov, Chairman of the Committee of state inspection in the agricultural sector at the Ministry of Agriculture, on September 29.

According to him, during 3-4 recent years Kazakhstan increases the exports to China annually. In the future, the country will transit the cargoes through China to the South-East and East Asia, including South Korea.

Since the beginning of 2014 Kazakhstan exported 5 mln tonnes of wheat. In addition, Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, and the countries of Central Asia are the traditional markets for Kazakh grains.
