On September 30, 2014, Russia started realizing the public purchasing interventions of grains of the harvest-2014. On first day of the regular stock exchange trading the interventions fund purchased 19.555 thsd tonnes of grains from the general proposed volume of 49.12 thsd tonnes, at the sum of 111.15 mln RUR.

In particular, the fund purchased 6.885 thsd tonnes of 4-grade wheat (from the proposed volume of 11.745 thsd tonnes) at the sum of 42.687 mln RUR; 3.78 thsd tonnes of 5-grade wheat (from the proposed volume of 8.37 thsd tonnes) at 22.68 mln RUR; and 8.89 thsd tonnes of feed barley (from the proposed volume of 21.715 thsd tonnes) at 45.784 mln RUR.

The trades on 4.86 thsd tonnes of 3-grade wheat, and 2.34 thsd tonnes of rye were invalidated.

The fund purchased the reporting grain volumes from 12 trading participants at the maximum prices at the sites in Novosibirsk oblast and Krasnoyarsk Krai.

The weighted average prices of the grains sold to the intervention fund were as follows:

- 4-grade wheat of the harvest-2014 – 6200 RUR/t;

- 5-grade wheat of the harvest-2013 – 6000 RUR/t;

- feed barley of the harvest-2014 – 5150 RUR/t.
