On September 30, 2014, the Ambassadors of the EU countries declared in favor of not to cancel the sanction for Russia.
Thus, the EU representative stated the Europe will save the status quo.
Note, the EU countries Ambassadors' decision was expected. Thus, Angela Merkel declared that there is no any reasons to cancel sanctions and the EU is to continue the pressure on Russia.
