According to the oblast departments of agriculture, as of October 3 agricultural producers of Kazakhstan harvested grains throughout 11.8 mln ha, or 78.4% of the planted areas. The production volumes reached 13.885 mln tonnes of grains, with the average yield of 1.18 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As a reminder, on the same date in 2013 Kazakhstan harvested grains throughout 13.17 mln ha (83.9%). The produced volumes totaled 16.84 mln tonnes, with the yield of 1.28 t/ha.
