Since the beginning of 2014/15 MY (July 1), and as of October 8, Russia exported 12.477 mln tonnes of grains, an increase of 20.1% compared with the same period of the previous season (9.969 mln tonnes), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation with reference to operative data of the Federal Customs Service of Russia on October 14.
In particular, wheat formed 10.535 mln tonnes of the specified volume, barley – 1.479 mln tonnes, maize - 384 thsd tonnes, other grains – 79 thsd tonnes.
In the period of October 1-8 the export volumes of Russian grains totaled 949 thsd tonnes, including 684 thsd tonnes of wheat, 179 thsd tonnes of barley, 74 thsd tonnes of maize, and 11 thsd tonnes of other grains.
