As of October 14, Russia harvested grains and pulses throughout the areas of nearly 41.7 mln ha or 92.4% of the planned areas (38.4 mln ha in 2013). The produced volumes reached 104.1 mln tonnes of grains in bunker weight (84.8 mln tonnes in 2013). The average yield totaled 2.5 t/ha (2.21 t/ha in 2013), declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

In particular, agrarians harvested winter and spring wheat throughout 22.9 mln ha, or 92.9%. The production totaled 60.4 mln tonnes, with the yield of 2.64 t/ha.

Russia harvested winter and spring barley throughout the areas of 8.8 mln ha or 96.7%. The produced volumes totaled 20.8 mln tonnes of the grain, with the yield of 2.36 t/ha.

Agrarians harvested maize for grain throughout 1.7 mln ha, or 62.3% of the planted areas. The produced volumes reached 7.6 mln tonnes with the average yield of 4.59 t/ha.

Russia harvested rice throughout 151.3 thsd ha, or 77.2% of the cultivated areas. The production reached 983.6 thsd tonnes, with the average yield of 6.5 t/ha.

Russia harvested sunflower seed throughout the areas of 4.9 mln ha (72.4%). The oilseed production totaled 7.2 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 1.47 t/ha.

Agrarians harvested winter and spring rapeseed throughout 953.9 thsd ha or 80.1% of the planned areas. The production volumes totaled 1.4 mln tonnes with the yield of 1.46 t/ha.

Russia harvested 1.6 mln tonnes of soybeans throughout 1.2 mln ha (61.1% of the plan), with the yield of 1.35 t/ha.

Also, Russian agrarians continued planting winter grains for the harvest-2015. As of the reporting date, Russia planted winter grains throughout the areas of 15.5 mln ha (93.9% of the forecast), against 10.7 mln ha in 2013.
