As of October 13, Ukraine harvested 57.632 mln tonnes of grains and oilseeds throughout the areas of 17.928 mln ha, declared the State Agricultural Inspection of Ukraine.
In particular, wheat production volumes totaled 24.552 mln tonnes with the average yield of 4.05 t/ha, barley production - 9.303 mln tonnes (3.09 t/ha), rye – 466 thsd tonnes (2.52 t/ha), maize – 9.481 mln tonnes (5.23 t/ha), sunflower seed – 7.716 mln tonnes (1.91 t/ha), soybeans – 2.469 mln tonnes (2.01 t/ha), rapeseed – 2.143 mln tonnes (2.48 t/ha).
According to the Inspection data, 2-grade and 3-grade wheat formed over 57% of the wheat production structure, 1-grade wheat – 0.37%, 4-grade wheat – 1.1%, 5-grade wheat – 9.43%, 6-grade wheat – 30.67%, and off-grade grain – 1.42%.
