According to preliminary estimations of APK-Inform analysts, in the current year wheat production volumes in Kazakhstan may reach 13.1 mln tonnes, against 13.9 mln tonnes in the previous season.
Thus, unfavorable weather conditions observed during the harvesting campaign since the beginning of October, became the main reason for such situation development. Also, reduction of the grain planted areas in favor of forage crops made its impact on formation of the harvest volumes.
