Ukraine: Illichivsk and Mariupol ports increased grain shipment in January-September of 2014

In January-September of 2014 SE Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk increased its grain shipment rates in 1.5 times compared with the same period in 2013 - to 3.085 mln tonnes, declared Center for Transport Strategies referring to data of SE Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority on October 21.

According to the announcement, during 9 months the port processed 1.083 mln tonnes of vegetable oils, up 11.1% compared with last year.

In January-September Mariupol Sea Commercial Port increased grain shipment volumes in 1.7 times compared with the first 9 months of 2013 - to 390 thsd tonnes. Also, the port processed 92 thsd tonnes of vegetable oils, up 2.9 times compared with 2013.
