In November 2014 Russia will decrease grain export volumes compared with the previous month results - to 3-3.1 mln tonnes, declared declared Igor Pavensky, Deputy Director of the strategic management department of Rusagrotrans CJSC, on November 6. He specified that according to his estimations, in October 2014 Russia exported nearly 3.3-3.4 mln tonnes of grains.
At the same time, it should be noted that the index forecasted for November 2014, significantly exceeds the export volumes of the same month last year (2.55 mln tonnes), said the expert.
Also, he added that in the period of October 1-27 grain export volumes through the deep-sea ports of the Russian Federation totaled 1.5 mln tonnes, while the volume of applications for grain exports until the end of October reached 130 thsd tonnes.
Thus, in October the volume of grain exports through the deep-sea ports of the Russian Federation totaled nearly 1.65 mln tonnes, against 1.69 mln tonnes in the previous month. The share of the specified ports in the general volume of Russian grain exports increased from 45% in September, to 48.5% in October, said I.Pavensky.
