There are no limitations for the imports of Ukrainian commodities to the territory of the Crimea, but violations of the rules of labeling, transportation and shelf life are the main reasons possible product returning, declared Yuri Epanov, Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) at the Republic of Crimea, on November 7.

According to him, the Crimean government requested to allow to some Ukrainian enterprises, even uncertified ones, to deliver their commodities to the Crimea.

In the case of detection of any hazardous banned substances such as growth hormones, antibiotics, salts of heavy metals, these companies will be denied to get access to the territory of the Crimea, informed Yu.Epanov.

He noted that Ukraine forms nearly 12-14% of the commodities supplied to the Crimea.
