In January-October of 2014 the volume of grain shipment for exports by enterprises of PJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (NCSP Group) totaled 5.83 mln tonnes, an increase of 97.7% compared with the same period last year, declared the press-service of the company on November 14.

In October 2014 the enterprises reduced grain export volumes by 168 thsd tonnes compared with September, due to adverse weather conditions and uneven arriving of certain grain varieties, which led to some shifting of the shipment schedule, the report said.

At the same time, in the reporting period the Group increased vegetable oil shipment to 253.5 thsd tonnes, up 66.1%.

The Group operates two of the largest Russian ports – Port of Novorossiysk on the Black Sea coast, and Port of Primorsk on the Baltic Sea – as well as Port of Baltiysk in Kaliningrad oblast.
