As of November 1, 2014, agricultural enterprises (excluding small-scale ones), and grain storage and processing enterprises in Ukraine stocked 29.9 mln tonnes of grains (including 11.2 mln tonnes of wheat, 2.8 mln tonnes of barley, 14.2 mln tonnes of maize, 0.3 mln tonnes of rye), an increase of 31% compared with the same date in 2013, declared the State Statistics Service of Ukraine on November 14.
Directly agrarian companies stored 17.6 mln tonnes of grains (up 36%), including 6.6 mln tonnes of wheat, 1.9 mln tonnes of barley, 7.8 mln tonnes of maize, 0.1 mln tonnes of rye. But the grain storage and processing enterprises stocked 12.3 mln tonnes of grains (up 23% compared with last year).
