According to the monitoring realized by APK-Inform experts, since the beginning of 2014/15 MY and as of December 10, the Berdyansk and Odessa Sea Commercial Ports significantly increased grain export volumes compared with the last season indices. So, in the reporting period the Odessa port increased grain shipments to 3.8 mln tonnes, against 2.6 mln tonnes, while the Berdyansk port shipped 703.5 thsd tonnes of grains, up 2 times compared with the same period last year.
It is worth noting that the company TIS also increased grain shipments in the reporting period, and exported 3.9 mln tonnes as opposed to 2.4 mln tonnes in the same period of 2013.
