As of December 11, 2014, Ukraine has exported 16.58 mln tonnes of grains (since the beginning of 2014/15 MY), declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
According to the announcement, the wheat exports totaled 7.67 mln tonnes, barley – 3.41 mln tonnes, maize – 5.32 mln tonnes, and other grains – 187 thsd tonnes.
Besides, as of the reporting date there have been shipped 414 thsd tonnes of grains. Thus, the exported and prepared for exports grain volumes totaled 16.99 mln tonnes (wheat – 7.76 mln tonnes, barley – 3.49 mln tonnes, maize – 5.56 mln tonnes).
According to the Ministry data, the bid prices for grains varied in dependence of region: the 3-grade wheat were fixed within 2300-3100 UAH/t, 6-grade feed wheat – 1880-2730 UAH/t.
