In January-November of 2014 the Ukrainian sea ports processed 29.622 mln tonnes of grain cargoes (including 28.597 mln tonnes of grains), an increase of 30.5% compared with the same period in 2013, declared the State Enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority on December 12.
In particular, state stevedoring companies processed 4.119 mln tonnes of grains at berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (up 43% compared with the first eleven months of 2013), private stevedoring companies at berths of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority – 11.191 mln tonnes (up 30.7%), stevedoring companies at their own berths – 14.311 mln tonnes (up 27.2%).
In addition, in the reporting period the seaports processed 12.688 mln tonnes of liquid bulk cargoes (down 6.1%), including 3.984 mln tonnes of vegetable oils (up 24.8%)
